History of Faith Fair

A heartfelt desire to be used by God

Early in the year of 2023, Ronda went to the altar at church to pray. She had a desire to be His faithful & willing servant. She wanted to answer God's call with, "Here I am." She asked the Lord to use her, telling Him in prayer those 3 words believing He would in her own small way.

God's plans are bigger than ours. Months later, during the month of November she was driving by the fairgrounds and looked upon the billboard advertising the grounds. She thought, 'that's such a big space to sit empty so much of the year'. Then God spoke to her heart and said, "Then do something with it. Throw Me a Faith Fair." 

She was unable to get the thought out of her mind. She knew this was God calling her to do it and began the daunting task set before her. With little time, a few churches and lots of prayers, the Caldwell County Faith Fair turned out to be a wonderful, hot sunny day that May. 

Despite forecasts for terrible weather Ronda assured everyone that God told her it would be a beautiful day and it was. Rain clouds were seen in every direction but the fairgrounds were hot and sunny. With approximately two thousand people present, the first year was a big success. Many thanks go out to those who stepped up in Big Faith with Ronda that first year. Without them, it never would have happened.

We work while it is day, for the night comes when no man can work...

Churches of Caldwell county continue to work together to bring Faith Fair to the community. God welcomes more soldiers and servants into this mission field. Join us and help fight the good fight of faith till that night comes.
